SKIN REJUVENESCENT TREATMENT

Skin rejuvenescent treatment

There are two kinds of skin ageing; intrinsic and extrinsic. The speed of the intrinsic ageing is determined genetically and shows the rate how you are ageing. Since about the age of 30 to 35 your skin naturally becomes ever thinner and drier. The less collagene in the skin makes the skin less flexible. At this age the early signs of slack and the static and deep wrinkles can appear.

The extrinsic ageing is caused by environmental effects. The extrinsic ageing is the critical element in determining who looks to be elder or younger than his/her biological age. The exposure to sunshine is a key important factor in case of extrinsic ageing. Photo-ageing happens if the decomposed elastin and collagen will not be substituted which causes the fine lines and wrinkles to become deeper. Photo-ageing also causes pigment change resulting in the appearance of lentigines (sun-spots), varied colour of the skin and larger pores as well. The arachnoid veins and the widen capillary vessels are also the signs of photo-ageing. The style of living has also effect on extrinsic ageing. Smoking results in decreasing elastin and collagen and decreases the healing capability of the body, too.

The simplest mode of noticing the difference between the intrinsic and extrinsic ageing is to compare the skin normally exposed to sunshine (face, hands and neck) and the other skin area not exposed to sunshine (breast, inside of arm and behind).

Those patients' skin who have small wrinkles on their faces or slightly slack skin and moles or capillary vessels can be improved by photo-rejuvenescent treatment by using intensive impulse-mode light emitting technology. Beside the repeated treatments some collagen bond and reformation can be observed.

Skin rejuvenescent treatment is purely a cosmetic treatment which results in younger and healthier skin. THis treatment can treat simultaneously the rubefaction caused by capillary vessels, rosacea, pigmented brown macula, sunshine damage, texture and collagen structure of the skin as well.

This newly developed technique treats the skin injuries in a non-invasive way - it does no hurt the epidermal surface of the skin. The iPulse i200 treatments can decrease the effects of photo-ageing and sunshine beside the low risk of complications and almost zero regeneration time. Why should you choose iPulse i200 from the all other treatment possibilities? The laser treatment and the deep chemical peeling often coerce the patients into keeing out of sight while the rubefaction and swelling disappear. Microdermabration treats the anomalies of the skin but it is not effective for the complicated problems, included rubefaction and telangiectasis, too. Face lifting and other surgical interventions are too invasive for the young patients and the "baby boom" generation who would like to revitalize their appearance without having regeneration time. The iPulse i200 offers a lot of tretment programmes which are suitable for the rejuvenescent treatmentof the skin and makes possible for the operator to choose the paramters which primarily good for the decrease of pigmented macula and rubefaction caused by capillary vessels while it generally improves the tone, the pore size, the fine lines and wrinkles of the skin as well.

The course of treatment

  • the patient arrives at the clinic after making an appointment by phone
  • recording the patient's data and making a card for her
  • giving information to the patient in a written form about the action to be made
  • personal consultation
  • discovering the accidental contra-indications and conditions which would not permit the treatment.
    Detailed representation of the treatment
  • Giving information about the possible side-effects arising after the treatment ( temporary skin rubefaction, blistering-off, impetigo, temporary hiperpigmentation, temporary hipopigmentation, etc.)
  • Domestic nursing after treatment
  • Determination of the skin type (Fitzpatrick 1-6) and documentation
  • Making treatment plan, discussion about the frequency of treatments
  • Signing the declaration of approval
  • Taking photo documentation
  • Cleaning the skin area to be treated
  • Covering the area to be treated by a cooled gel
  • After the adjustment of the instrument parameters the treatment is carried out
  • Using ice jelly on the treated area if necessary
  • Skin sedative spray will be applied on the treated area
  • In summer time use of suntan lotion with 40 to 50 factor on the treated area

Before the treatment

  • you cannot use self-tanning lotion and avoid using solarium and sun-bathing for minimum two weeks before the treatment
  • do not use peroxiding and deep peeling agents on the area to be treated
  • do not use suntan lotions and even make-up on the day of the treatment
  • you should shave the area to be treated the day before.

Description of the treatment

During the treatment in order to decrease the accidentally arisen inconvenience a cool transparent gel (e.g. ultrasound gel) will be applied on the skin to be treated after washing the skin by clean water. This jelly can decrease the pain during the treatment and provides an ideal and optimal connection between the skin and the treating head (namely the light). Before starting the treatment a low energy test shot will be applied near the area to be treated in order to reach the maximum efficiency and the minimum irritation. Then the area covered by gel will be covered by light impulses near each other with minimum overlapping. After the treatment the treated area will be cooled down by ice jelly for some seconds if it is necessary, then a sedative spray containing aloe vera will be applied on the treated area. A suntan lotion with 40 to 50 factors will be used in summer time as well.

Recommendations after the treatment

  • Do not expose your skin to ultraviolet radiation (sunshine, solarium, bronzerium) and do not use self-tanning lotions!
