Ars Medica Laser Clinic started to provide medical consulting-hours in its surgery centre at 14th June 1992. At first we carried out smaller surgical intervention with CO2 laser, essentially removals of various warts and moles, and then year after year we enlarged with other specialities range of activity of the clinic.

We started to operate our new one day surgery centre in 1994 made up of three operating rooms, patient-rooms, examination rooms and other service units. Our air-conditioned single or two-bedded patient-rooms are equipped with nurse-signal device, phone, TV and Internet-access and food is ensured. By the involvement of the different medical specialties and the continuous improvement of our surgical instruments today we are ready to perform operations with anaesthesia requiring even several days of nursing.

Personal consultation for each speciality at the policlinic is held due to preliminary phone appointment. The outpatient procedures can even be performed immediately after the first visit, but the "one day surgeries" are generally performed at an agreed later date.

For patients having valid so-called "TAJ" card, containing the ID No. of National Health Service, one day surgery is available for free from July 1st 2007 due to a contact with National Health Insurance Bursary. More...

Our philosophy for medical care

Our goal is to provide safe, efficient, effective medical care and treatment at our one day surgery centre by professionals experienced both in theories and practice of one day surgery.

At the centre we keep a clean, comfortable and pleasant atmosphere furthermore our staff is friendly, and expert.

We always treat our patients as individuals. We respect their culture and religion and we do whatever is necessary to accommodate those with language problems. In addition the same nurse works with a given patient from admission to release.

We are convinced on the approach of one aim, one team we also recognised that all the members, no matter what function they have, are equally important and participates in high-quality medical care of patients. Inner communication of a team, including home nurses and family practitioners, is vital.

The personnel ensure that each and every patient and the relatives receive all the relevant information concerning the intervention as well as the required physical and psychic support.

Our goal is to enable our patients to return their everyday lives at home as soon as possible.
